The Tufts Journal is the monthly online news publication for faculty, staff, and administration on Tufts University's three campuses at http://tuftsjournal.tufts.edu.
The overarching goals of the Tufts Journal are to:
1. Showcase through compelling stories and visual features the breadth and depth of Tufts, helping to raise the institution's academic reputation.
2. Highlight the university's distinctive strengths in the health sciences, active citizenship, cross-disciplinary and cross-school collaborations and the integration of teaching and research.
3. Enhance the institution’s leadership position as a top-tier undergraduate liberal arts college and research university.
The Journal serves its varied readership by providing wide-ranging content appealing to workers helping students in the registrar's office on the Medford/Somerville campus, to the microbiologist who works in a laboratory seven miles away on our health sciences campus in Boston, to those who care for animals at our School of Veterinary Medicine, located 40 miles west of Boston. The Journal informs readers about significant research, reaches out to them as consumers through nutrition and health science stories and hopefully amuses and entertains them, keeping them wanting to return to the site for more.
The Journal is available online for all members of the Tufts community, and also has readers across the country and around the world.
